About Rutgers Magazine
Rutgers Magazine celebrated the research, teaching, and service mission of Rutgers as well as the achievements of its alumni. It was published by the Department of University Communications and Marketing and the Rutgers University Alumni Association at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, until it ceased operations with the winter 2023 issue. The magazine began in 1914 as Rutgers Alumni Quarterly and became Rutgers Monthly in 1921 and Rutgers Alumni Magazine in 1969. In 1987, the publication became known as Rutgers Magazine. An online archive of past issues is available going back to 2010. Print copies are not available.
