ABOUT DR. RANDAL PINKETT
Dr. Randal Pinkett is the founder, chairman, and chief executive officer of BCT Partners, a multimillion dollar, management, technology, and policy consulting firm based in Newark, N.J. BCT Partners provides advisory services to corporations, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations in the areas of housing and community development, economic development, human services, nonprofit and community technology, health care, and education.
Dr. Pinkett gained national recognition after becoming the season four winner of NBC’s hit reality television show, “The Apprentice.”
Dr. Pinkett holds five degrees:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University;
- Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Oxford in England; and
- Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, MBA, and Ph.D. from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
While attending Rutgers University, Dr. Pinkett served as captain of the varsity men’s track and field team, president of the Rutgers chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers, and co-founder of MBS Enterprises, a campus-based distributor of compact discs and cassette tapes to Rutgers students.
Dr. Pinkett’s publications include “Campus CEO: The Student Entrepreneur’s Guide to Launching a Multimillion-Dollar Business” and “No-Money Down CEO: How to Start Your Dream Business with Little or No Cash.”Dr. Pinkett and his wife, Zahara Wadud-Pinkett, a Senior Alumni Relations Officer at Rutgers University, reside in Somerset, N.J., with their daughter, Amira.
