CAMDEN – Select works by Rutgers University—Camden artists will be featured in the upcoming exhibit “Over the Bridge” at the Third Street Gallery in Philadelphia.

Beginning Feb. 3, eight members of the Rutgers–Camden fine arts faculty will showcase their creations, from painting to photography to digital works, at the Philadelphia gallery through Feb. 28. Participating artists, whose work has been exhibited throughout the globe, include: Margery Amdur; Elizabeth Demaray; Robert Emmons; Allan Espiritu; Jeff Filbert; Bruce Garrity; Ken Hohing; and LiQin Tan.

Special receptions with the artists will be held at 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5, and at 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 7 at the Third Street Gallery, located at 58 N. Second Street in Philadelphia.

The Camden Campus of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, offers 34 undergraduate and 17 graduate programs. Rutgers–Camden is home to more than 250 faculty whose research, teaching, and service endeavors are represented worldwide.

The Rutgers–Camden Fine Arts Department offers undergraduate concentrations in art history; computer graphics; graphic design; museum studies; painting; printmaking and photography; sculpture; and teacher certification. Interdisciplinary programs can also be custom-designed for potential careers in art therapy; medical illustration; advertising; and other fields.
