CAMDEN – Hailing from as far away as Great Britain and as close as Camden County, aspiring writers enrolled in the MFA program in creative writing at Rutgers University—Camden will read original works about relocation during the monthly Rutgers–Camden Cappuccino Academy at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 7. An open mic session will follow the scheduled readers.
The inaugural class in the Rutgers–Camden MFA program in creative writing began in the fall of 2008. Accepting only 15 students per year, the competitive Rutgers–Camden MFA program requires 42 credits of coursework and completion of a thesis for this terminal degree concentrating in fiction, poetry, and narrative nonfiction.
