Rutgers Day Programming Changes

NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. – Rutgers’ Center for Management Development is again offering its popular Mini-MBA™: Business Essentials Certificate Program at a location and time convenient for residents and workers in the Morris County area. The 12-week executive education program will be taught on consecutive Thursdays from 6 to 9 p.m., Sept. 17 through Dec. 10 at the Headquarters Plaza in Morristown.

The Mini-MBA is an innovative certificate program that is creating growth opportunities for a wide range of professionals, managers and executives in all fields. The curriculum provides a deeper understanding of business and a better appreciation of how various functional areas of organizations relate to one another in formulating and executing strategy in today’s turbulent economy.

 Learning experiences are focused around MBA topics including competitive business strategy, finance, marketing, law, ethics and organizational change. The program is delivered in three-hour classes in a “hands-on,” case-based format. Graduates assign it high ratings for relevance and excellence in instruction. It is taught by top Rutgers professors and executive corporate leaders.

 Registration is now being accepted for the Morris County program. The $3,195 fee includes tuition and materials. This program has been approved by the New Jersey Department of Labor for workforce training grants. Funding may be available for those receiving unemployment benefits.

The certificate program in is among a group of Rutgers mini-MBAs offered by CMD. Additional mini-MBAs include: Strategic Healthcare Management, Biopharma Innovation, Finance Essentials and Strategic Marketing Management. Established in 1947, the Center for Management Development is a leading provider of continuing education programs in leadership, organizational and human resource management.
