CAMDEN — No matter the time or location, online certificate courses give students the flexibility to learn at their own pace and convenience. That flexibility is now being applied to the cost of online courses offered by the Rutgers–Camden School of Business.Beginning Oct. 1, tuition for the online certificate training programs will be $2,100, an increase of $151. But students who enroll in the courses prior to Oct. 4 will be locked into the old $1,949 price.
The Rutgers–Camden Business School’s Institute for Management and Executive Development is offering the price freeze on any of its 21 online certificate training programs.
“These programs are designed for people who would like to obtain Rutgers credentials and enhance a skill set, but not go through the expense and long-term commitment of a full degree program,” says Ray Compari, associate dean of the Rutgers–Camden School of Business and director of the Institute for Management and Executive Development.
Some of the online certificate programs include Pre-MBA, Professionals Sales, Human Resource Management, Marketing Management, Quality Management, and Web Design and Development.
Students commit about 100 hours of self-paced learning and are required to pass a number of quizzes, exams, or exercises. Instructors are available to answer any questions and the students can utilize print and online text materials, audio recordings, and notes and exercises to improve the learning experience.
Online courses at Rutgers–Camden are available 24/7, allowing students to successfully balance school, work, and family life.
“I am very pleased with my recent online course experience,” says Ralph DeVito, a former student. “My mentor helped me throughout the online Project Management program from beginning to end. He was always there when I had questions, always followed up with me, and was diligent with weekly status and progress.”
Discounts are available for those who plan on taking more than one certificate course and for group enrollments, Rutgers–Camden alumni, and armed forces personnel. For more information, visit onlinetraining.rutgers.edu.
