WHAT: Colorful ceremonial event offering major photo/video opportunity and commentary on the promise of stem cell therapies in biomedical research.

BACKGROUND: All the pomp, pageantry, and regalia of academia will mark the ceremonial investiture of Dr. Wise Young as the first occupant of the Richard H. Shindell Chair in Neuroscience. Mr. Shindell has donated $3 million to endow the chair.
